Today I have two cards to share. If you have ever visited my blog, you know I am fan of using both the positive and negative space on a card from my die cuts.
Let me start with the first card, which inspired me to make the second one! Haha!
I am definitely experiencing Spring fever this week so I pulled out The Stamps of Life Bunny4Easter.
I glued down a piece of patterned paper onto a white card base and then die cut the bunny out. This left me with a space to fill.
After stamping a bunny in black on white card stock, I did a very light watercolor with pink on parts of him using Candy ink.
The bunny was glued down in the opening and then I decorated the inside. I wanted there to be eggs inside (from the eggs I cut a few weeks ago). I also stamped some grass and a flower.
So this is what you find when you open it:
I finished off the front the card with a die cut tag stamped with, "He is Risen."
A trio of paper flowers was added around the tag.
The card opened from the front with the bunny peeking from the back:
I decided against stamping the bunny on the paper because I was worried it wouldn't show up enough. This became the bunny's backside hopping away!
I added a pearl to represent cotton tail. My husband isn't sure you can tell it is the back, but I am going with it!!!
The background was created by stamping a single flower all over. The two dotted frames were added and a trio of tiny dots were stamped around the bunny.
Thank you so much for stopping by!!
I am entering these cards in the following challenges:

SSS Monday Challenge: Make a Rainbow
Aw, this is adorable. I love how you created the cut out window for the little bunny inside your card and what a great way to use the cut out on another card. Very clever! Thanks for joining us on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge.

Very colorful! Thank you for blessing us with your artwork here at Word Art Wednesday. We are midway on our current challenge and I hope you join us again. Leaving you with the inspiration of God's Word found in 1 Corinthians 16:13-14 which tells us, "Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong. Do everything in love." Have an awesome week.
