Crafting with Katherine: Shine Bright with The Stamps of Life

I have a new card to share today:

This card features the newest background die from Stephanie Barnard - made by Sizzix. You can see it HERE. I also used the coordinating Dotted Stars, also a new release.

I am really pretty fond of stars so these needed to come to my house!

How I made this:

I diecut the patterned paper using the background and the coordinating frame around it.

This is a "drop-in" die. What that means is if you just run the background die without the frame, it will drop-in the star background. Here is a great video from Stephanie that explains this a little better: Flower Power Background die video.

To create the shine bright star, I ran that die with a coordinating star die outline through my machine and then layered it onto an Ocean solid star.

I added a few yellow epoxy stars (look closely to find them!) They fit perfectly in this die cut. These epoxy stars are from a previous Stamps of Life Card Club Kit.

I tied on some sky ribbon before putting it on my Lemonade card base.
