Today I am sharing a card I made for this week's PTI Make It Monday #284 Background Stamping with Sentiment Stamps.
You can watch Melissa's video to see more details.
I need thank you cards for teachers as next week is out final week of school.
I pulled out an older set, Teacher Mini Stamp Set and used the sentiments to stamp the background. This is one of the first sets I ever bought from Papertrey and it is still a favorite.
I added the white piece to a Pure Poppy card base. Next, I die cut the scalloped circle from Harvest Gold and added it on top of a circle of New Leaf. The sentiment was also cut from new Leaf using a My Favorite Things die.
Two apple shapes from Apple Mini Stamp set were cut and added on top of the circles. One was stamped with Jalapeno Lawn Fawn ink.
Finally, I added New Leaf ribbon.
I can never thank all the teachers my children have each year. They give so much of themselves and I am always grateful for all that they do!
Supplies used:
Lawn Fawn Inks
Papertrey Card stock
Lawn Fawn Stitched Circle Dies
Papertrey Teacher Mini and Apple Mini set and die
I am entering this card in the following challenge:
