I decided instead of making cards I would create gift containers for my holiday needs.
I pulled out Papertrey Ink's Candy Cane Lane patterned paper and added adhesive on the back of the sheet to save a step.
I ran the paper through my die cut machine twice using the Pint Size Wrap Die. This has to be one of my all time favorite dies from Papertrey ink. It is so much fun to cover an ice cream container with paper.
I adhered the two pieces of paper to the container and worked on the topper.
I cut a circle from green cardstock and used Pure Poppy cardstock to cut out the sentiment from the Shaped Sayings Christmas Die. I also added adhesive to the cardstock to make it easy to add it to the green circle.
After attaching the circle to the lid, I added a few sequins for a bit of sparkle and finished with some ribbon.
Thanks Laurie for the inspiration!
Have a great day!
