Baby Card from The Stamps of Life

Hi there!

Today's card features the new color, Blue Jay, from The Stamps of Life.

I stamped the background paper using Minionesie2cut, Bluejay and Seaglass ink.

I mounted this onto a patterned piece of paper and an A2 Seaglass card base.

I stamped and die cut the onesie using Bluejay and Licorice Archival ink. Isn't this onesie adorable? You receive both the stamps and the die in this set.

I cut ovals from Blue Jay and Powdered Sugar and blended ink around the edges.

I added a seam binding bow.

Did I mention there is coordinating card stock and felt? Head over to The Stamps of Life to see it all!

Happy Birthday Llama from The Stamps of Life

Hi there!

As November comes to a close and we say goodbye to the Llama club set, I decided to share one more card!

I began by cutting an A2 sized Guava card base.

I cut the Happy birthday from Seaglass and mounted it onto a white shadow. TIP: Consider adding an adhesive sheet to the back of your Seaglass card stock before cutting. It will make the gluing down process so easy!

I die cut this pre-printed Llama from this month's Card kit  patterned paper pad. It coordinates perfectly with the Llama die set.

I stamped and die cut balloons from Mint Chip, Sky and Lemonade card stock. The balloons come from the Elephant Pudgie set.

Glue the balloons onto his tail. I tied on Banana seam binding.

To make this more festive, I stamped the same colored balloons randomly inside.

We Make a Perfect Pair featuring The Stamps of Life

Hi there!

There is a new ink color, Blue Jay, over at The Stamps of Life!

I stamped and die cut the mittens from Powdered Sugar using Blue Jay ink. It is loveliest shade of pale blue.

I die cut the sentiment, We make a perfect pair, from Midnight and Blue Jay card stock. I also die cut a trio of Powdered Sugar snowflakes.

I cut rectangles from Kiwi and Strawberry and mounted them onto a patterned paper rectangle. This was all added to an A2 Strawberry card base.

Here is a photo of the inside. I stamped some snowflakes and the sentiment with Blue Jay.

Hello and Thanks for being my friend featuring The Stamps of Life

Hi there!

Today's card features the new Dotted fancy frames as well as a sweet little freebie from The Stamps of Life!

I cut my butterfly card from Banana. I ran the patterned paper through my machine and added to a Powdered Sugar shadow.

NOTE: Please consider adding a sheet of adhesive to the paper before you run it through your machine. This is such an intricate die it would be very challenging to add adhesive after it is cut!

I cut the body from Ocean and added some rhinestones.

I cut the frame from Kiwi and blended ink around the edges. The sentiment comes from tiny pudgie set that will be included as a freebie for club members in December.

This darling Hello die comes from the Notebook Edge and Hello dies. It is cut from Powdered Sugar and Banana.

We can't forget about the inside! I stamped several Butterflies inside.

For the last touch, I cut a piece of patterned paper using the Envelope Liner to create a custom finish to my card:

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Happy New Years Dies from The Stamps of Life

 Hi there!

Today I have two cards using the Happy New Year die from The Stamps of Life!

While cleaning my desk, I discovered two watercolor paper scraps (that have been there for a VERY long time!) so I decided to die cut out Happy New Year. The watercolors have a metallic sheen so I thought that would be fun for a festive card.

You can see some of the sheen here. Metallics are always hard to capture in a photo. : )

After being die cut:

I mounted the gold Happy New Year onto a Seaglass shadow.

I mounted the blue one onto Licorice card stock.

I made the same background twice by stamping snowflakes all around with Powdered Sugar pigment ink. Be sure to let it sit for several minutes to dry on your paper or it will smudge. I stamped on Blueberry and Sky card stock.

Next, I stamped and die cut a large snowflake with Seaglass on Powdered Sugar Card stock. I added a few rhinestones to the centers.

I created the snowflake background the same way on this card but I stamped on Sky card stock. I decided that the Grape card stock would be a nice complement. I cut a trio of snowflakes and popped them up with Adhesive Foam.

If you look closely, you can see that I coated each Grape snowflake with a clear shimmer pen.

I always needs gift card holders. The Zig Zag Bag dies are my go-to set for a quick but oh so cute treat holder. They include word dies as well as some beautiful flowers, a heart and stars.

I cut two bags out from patterned paper. The Happy Birthday on this bag was cut from Candy and Ocean card stock.

I used Pixie and Grape for this bag:

I added a few felt and glitter flowers to add a little sparkle. I love this big sentiment!

Fancy Frame Flip-it from The Stamps of Life

Hi there!

I have two cards to share today I made using the new Fancy Frame Flip-it exclusive die set:

I cut the base from Blueberry card stock and layered on patterned paper. The layering dies with flip-it cards make it SO easy to create a card.

I cut the frames from Powdered Sugar and glitter paper

I added a trio of mirror hearts that were included in a previous card kit.

The second card base is made from Licorice. I cut the congrats from Gold Glitter paper

I layered on the patterned paper and tied on a piece of Licorice seam binding.

The sentiment was stamped onto a Powdered Sugar frame.
