Love2Hug with The Stamps of Life

 Hi!

I felt like doing stamping only today! This is what I came up with:

I love to die cut but sometimes I just long to stamp. I used multiple different colors and just stamped a random pattern of heart circles, sentiments and hearts.

The green heart was stamped on white card stock and hand cut out. I added glossy accents on it to give it some shine and dimension.

Supplies used:
Cranberry Card Stock
Powdered Sugar Card Stock
Green Apple Ink
Tangerine Ink
Banana Ink
Cranberry Ink
Kiwi ink
Grape Ink
Puffy heart from previous Card Kit Club
Cranberry Seam Ribbon

Coffee4Two with The Stamps of Life

 Hi!

Coffee stamps are all the rage right now and I love the look of them, too!

However, I don't drink coffee, at all! I never have. But I do love the smell of a coffee shop.

Here is what I made today:

This coffee cup is so cute and I like that it is large. You could make a fun card with just the die.

Supplies used:
The Stamps of Life Patterned paper
Gingersnap Card stock
Coffee4Two stamp set and dies
Chocolate Ink Pad
Blue Gems from previous Card Kit Club

Yay with The Stamps of Life Card Kit Club

Hi there!

Today I made a card using items from the January Stamps of Life Card Kit:

I began by cutting the black stripe paper on the angle and adding it to a piece of patterned paper that prominently features the word "yay."

In this month's kit, it includes a nice size word die - YAY. I cut the word out in Green Glitter Paper and the shadow in white.

Love the sparkle!

I die cut several flowers from card stock using the Newport Flower Set and layered them underneath the word.

Black ribbon and a puffy sticker finished it off!

Happy Birthday with The Stamps of Life

Hi there!

Today I have a bold, colorful card to share!

I die cut the large Happy Birthday sentiment from watercolor paper and decided to incorporate both warm and cool colors.

Next, I embossed a piece of Tangerine card stock and added that to a piece of Seaglass patterned paper. This was all added to the a Seaglass card stock base.

Before popping up the die cut, I added Clear wink of Stella:

I added a little lemonade ribbon and a small tag die cut sentiment to finish it off.

Let's Do Breakfast with The Stamps of Life

Hi there!

Here is the card I created today using the newest Stamps of Life monthly club set:

When I first saw the reveal of this set, I thought I would not use it at all. The moment it arrived I was in love with it. It is beyond cute! I really like the sentiments included in the set.

I stamped the eggs in black on white card stock and colored the yolks with Copics.

The bacon was stamped with a light Memento ink and then finished with markers.

I cut a circle out of patterned paper to create my "plate."

Supplies used:
Egg yolks - Copic Y13, Y15
Bacon - Copic E23, E27

Love you Like a Sister featuring The Stamps of Life

Hi!

We had a wonderful visit with my brother and sister in law this past weekend so I wanted to send a thank you note for hosting us.

I cut red patterned paper using Sizzix Drop in Card Front and the love die. This die set is very versatile. It includes two other sentiments and the rounded edge frame, which is a personal favorite.

Using another piece of pink heart patterned paper, I cut just the rounded frame and adhered the two pieces together. The paper was added to a white card base that was embossed.

I added some Clear wink of stella, a faux leather arrow and some glitter epoxy dots:

All supplies are from The Stamps of Life.

Papertrey Ink Make It Monday #309 Heat Embossed Stenciled Backgrounds

Today I created a card for the Papertrey Ink Make It Monday #309 Heat Embossed Stenciled Background Challenge.

This one took me several tries. I pulled out a couple of embossing powders and using the Quatrefoil stencil created my background.

I really liked the first one on black. It features Judikins Extreme Peacock powder which works best on dark card stock.  I cut finished the piece by cutting it out of one of the Mix and Mats.

The powder is very light:

But really shines on black card stock:

I liked the others I made but I just couldn't get an idea going with them so I will save them for later!

After settling on the black background, I chose purple as my base because I could see some of that in the powder.

I embossed the card stock with an older Stampin' Up! folder to give a little more texture.

The circle comes from the Don't Forget to Write Make It Market kit. I embossed in silver the sentiment You are so Loved. This was a recent freebie set from PTI and it is so sweet. I stamped one of the hearts in Red ink and after cutting it out, added Glossy Accents for dimension.

XOXO with The Stamps of Life Card Club Kit

Hi there!

Today I am sharing a card I made using the newest The Stamps of Life Card Kit Club.

This has to be one of my all time favorite kits Stephanie has ever done. I just love the colors and the patterned paper pack included in the kit.

There is also the XOXO die that you can either leave in the paper or you can use the included outer die that will cut the shape out.

I decided to leave my XOXO in the paper:

I cut 3 strips of card stock to use behind the cut out.

I trimmed the pieces down and mounted it all onto a white card base.

Grape ribbon was tied on the left and I finished by adding 3 puffy hearts:

I will definitely use this for Valentine's Day!

Papertrey Ink Make It Monday #308 - 2017 Ala Carte

Hi there!

Today's card is for Papertrey Ink Make It Monday #308 - 2017 Ala Carte Challenge.

I participated in most of the weekly Make It Monday Challenges but I did miss a few.

I chose Make It Monday Faux Epoxy Embellishments from Betsy Veldman for this challenge.

I struggled making the embellishment! I made my die cut and burned the embossing powder and it didn't look good at all. I tried again and immediately got yellow ink all over it. I need to clean my craft mats better, I guess! Haha!

I then decided to use something else. I had some Pico Embellisher in clear so I added that on top of the paper. I finally had success!!

While that was drying, I added a Quatrefoil die cut onto a Vintage Jadeite card base.

Recently, I spent some time die cutting all the pre-printed pieces in my various Papertrey Make It Market kits. I pulled out a few of the die cuts from Garden Gate and added them on.

Thanks for stopping by!

MFT Wednesday Sketch 366

Hi there!

Today I am sharing a card I created for the MFT Wednesday Sketch 366 challenge.

After die cutting and stamping the images, I went old school and pulled out my markers and colored all my pieces.

This card got off track when I decided to turn my die cut window into a shaker card! It has been a while since I made one so I forgot how to do it right. : )

I die cut the pieces - the circle windows and the matching base piece and cut the acetate as well. After gluing down the 2 birds and the heart to my pink base, I placed foam around the edges to make the shaker. I was about to attach it all when I realized I needed to put foam in the middle, too, or I would just have sequins in the bottom! I was able to add the foam pieces and save the card.

I then embossed the light purple background with a woodgrain folder and added it to the gray card base.

The shaker piece was added next followed by the tree, birdhouse and the sentiment.
