Ho Ho Ho Box card with The Stamps of Life

Hi there!

I created a Box card today for the blog. I used the new Sizzix Box Die set designed by Stephanie Barnard.

This is a fun set! You can design what edge type you want (scalloped, straight, etc) so there is a lot of flexibility.

The stamp and die set in the box are from a retired stamp set but I really wanted to use some winter themes in the warm, red Christmas color box to create some interest.

The best part is this card will fold flat for mailing!!!

Thanks for stopping by!

Make It Monday #304: Photo Ornaments

Hello!

I created this ornament for the Make It Monday #304 Photo Ornaments challenge by Lexi over at Papertrey Ink.

Here is the front:

I didn't think I would have time to participate this week, but today the girls dressed up in their new reindeer onesies and I snapped a photo (with our cat Hobbs, of course!).

I printed the picture on photo paper sizing it to 3 inches x 3 inches. I die cut the card stock and the picture and then embossed Pure Poppy using the branch from the What the Doodle Ornament Mini set as well as the Believe sentiment from Dash Away All.

I wanted to use the reindeer die cut on the back. There isn't a lot of room to stamp so I hand wrote their names, age and the year.

This new ornament die made this so simple!!!

Thanks Lexi for the inspiration.

Supplies Used:
Pure Poppy and Kraft Card Stock
Tag Sale #12
Green String from the Make It Mini Tag Along Set
Ranger Liquid Platinum Embossing Powder

Hope you are having a wonderful Thanksgiving today. I wanted to share a card I made today. These pilgrims are from The Stamps of Life and just ridiculously cute.

We are getting ready to stuff ourselves full of turkey and dressing and yummy pie!

I am so grateful for all the many blessings in my life.

I am so grateful to have this beautiful red maple in my yard today. It that has been sharing with me this gorgeous show of color this year.

Some cheerful pumpkins on my porch:

Crayola Model Magic Meals

Hi there!

One of my sweet daughters, Sarah, made this amazing selection of "meals' using Crayola Model Magic. I just had to share them today on the blog.

One of Sarah's teacher at school has a stuffed hamster called Hammy. Hammy wears little outfits, etc so she decided to make some "meals" for him.

She is 11!!!

And a cookie of course!!

Merry Christmas with The Stamps of Life

Hello there!

I received my new Stamps of Life Stamp and Die set and I couldn't wait to use it!

The coffee mug is so cute and was created to be hot chocolate but I think you could create coffee drinks, too!

I die cut the mugs from patterened paper and added each one to the white card stock shadow.

I stamped sentiments on each and added twine and bling. These are from previous Card kit stamp sets.

The Kraft card stock was embossed with an older Snowflake folder from Sizzix.

Thanks for reading today!
