Happy 13th birthday!

Today is my oldest daughter's 13th birthday!

I can still remember the moment she was born and it is still hard to believe 13 years have gone by. I am so grateful for her.

I created this gift card box for her. I used a piece of 6x6 patterned paper from a Stamps of Life card kit. I used my We r Memory Keepers punch board to punch and score the paper. After adhering it together, I added an ice cream cone sticker from the kit.

This was quick and easy!

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day.

Recollections Washi tape box

Hello there!

Just stopping by today to share something I found at my local Michael's this morning. I stumbled on this amazing box of washi tape by Recollections.

It stopped me in my tracks because:

1. It is already in a storage box
2. It contains 44 rolls of washi
3. It covers EVERY season!

Here are some pictures of what the tape looks like:

Look at those cupcakes! They would look so cute colored.

I love how big this Happy Birthday is!

Lots of Christmas and Valentine's day covered with this set.

I really like the witches legs - too cute!!!

Love, love the Fall tapes!

If you love the planners that are popular right now, this is a must have. I got it for that reason but also to keep in my drawer so I can easily add washi to any envelope.

They had two boxes. See the following links and check your local store. Today it was on sale and I used an additional 25% off coupon.

Hello!

Hi there!

I have been making a few cards using the new Lawn Fawn Slide on Over dies.

These are so much fun. The set includes 6 dies, from short to longer, that help create slots for slider cards.

Shaker cards were the "it" card last year so I think the slider must be in now!

I pulled out Chilly Chums stamps and die and stamped 3 images, a seal, walrus and penguin.

I did some quick copic coloring and die cut the shapes.

I cut three slits in light blue paper and stamped 2 sentiments along with snowflakes.

Using pennies and foam squares, I attached the chums.

I added a few dots of Stickles and attached it all to white card stock base.

Here are few pictures showing the "friends" sliding around!

Thanks for stopping by! Have a wonderful day.
