These cards were created for the Simon Says Stamp Blog Monday Challenge: Trio-Tastic.

The challenge is to use 3 of something on a card/project.

I pulled out my fall plaid patterned paper from Lawn Fawn and cut 3 Thanks from scripty sayings.

I cut a piece of watercolor paper and painted it a shade of orange.

I adhered the die cuts and tied twine and added a wooden leaf.

But this turned into a 2-for-1 deal!

The paper left from the die cut was so cute I decided to make another card featuring that negative space. I cut and mounted the papers to an orange cardstock. I added 3 sequins, too, to stay with the theme.

Now I have two cards to give to someone. I am so thankful for so much!

Have a wonderful day and thank you for stopping by!

Papertrey Ink November Blog Hop Challenge

Hello! Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Today is the Papertrey Ink November Blog Hop Challenge.

Here is the inspiration photo for the challenge:

Photo by Lesley at Chaotically Creative

I used a very modern stamp set from Neat and Tangled to create the tree full of bright ornaments.

The base of the tree was inspired by the pink pillow in the picture. I used Nuvo to draw the base and added Clear Rock Candy Glitter while it was wet for some shine.

The Merry Christmas come from the Papertrey Ink December Moments stamp set.

I tied on some gold twine and mounted it on lime green cardstock.

Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Birthday!

I created today's card using The Stamps of Life November Card Kit.

I also used a die set called Sizzix Drop Ins Lovely.

I cut the card base in blue and added the "happy birthday" drop in. This allows you to cut out the center but it leaves the sentiment in the card base.

I added a piece of patterned paper from the paper pad included in the kit.

The bright pink puffy banner, twine and wood stars are all in the kit so I added those on and finished by stamping stars around the edge.

A very cheerful card!

Day 5: Fantastic Friday of Christmas Tags

Happy Friday!

This is the final day of my Christmas tag series.

You can see the other days of my post:

This first tag uses a Snowflake die from Papertrey Ink. I cut the snowflake from toner paper. I ran it through my laminator with iridescent foil on top and ended up with this beautiful snowflake.

The base of the tag is made from white cardstock which I blended Distress ink over and added some stickles around the edge for some sparkle.

Here is another tag made using the same snowflake die, but I used patterned paper and pink watercolor underneath.

I added a die cut of the word Snow on top.

Using the  PTI Tag Sale Quilted Die,  I die cut the tag in Kraft paper.

I cut Green and Red paper with the PTI Shaped Sayings Christmas Die.

These Shaped Sayings dies from Papertrey may be my favorite dies they made this year!

Thanks for stopping by for the final day of Christmas tags. It has been fun to do and I have a lot of tags for presents!

I am heading off to a Thanksgiving luncheon with my two daughters. May you have a blessed day!

Day 4: Thankful for Thursdays Christmas Tags

Welcome to Day 4 - this week is flying by!

Please check out my previous Christmas tag posts:
Day 1
Day 2
Day 3

My first tag is super simple. I die cut some holly leaves from Paper Smooches Poinsettia Dies. I added these to a tag and inked the edges with Green ink. I next stamped To and From and I was done.

Using those same Poinsettia Dies, I cut the flower in two shades of red and the leaves in two shades of green. I created a layer flower and put a yellow dot in the center.

After gluing these down on my tag base, I splattered the card with gold watercolor paint.

I will add a sentiment to the front but I wanted to share the tag before I do that.

This next tag features an Avery Elle stamp and die set, Winter Wreath Set.

I stamped the wreath twice, in a lighter and darker green. I die cut the image and added it a pocket tag that holds a gift card. You can see the V underneath the wreath that holds the card.

I then stamped and die cut the pinecones and berries. I die cut the ribbon out of gold foil cardstock and added that to the top.

I cut a green circle and stamp Merry Christmas, which is included in the set.

I found some beautiful wreaths at my local Jo-ann's made by Heidi Swapp. The box included 3 small wreaths and banners to go with them.

These ended up fitting my Papertrey Ink Die perfectly.

I cut the tag using Kraft Heavy weight cardstock and attached the wreath using foam tape. I finished by adding the banner and some ribbon.

This was so quick, but it so beautiful with great dimension.

My next tag is a repeat of above, except that I used white cardstock and I added some extra elements. I hot glued 5 buttons around the wreath and added some of my favorite gold ribbon. The sentiment came from an ArtC stamp at my local Michael's recently. I added a couple of gold sequins and a thick twine.

You could make placecards for your Christmas table, too.

Thanks for stopping by, please come back tomorrow for the conclusion of my Tags series.

Day 3: Wonderful Wednesday of Tags

Hope you are having a great day so far!

Just stopping by to share another day of Christmas tags.

You can see my previous Tag posts HERE and HERE.

I had some buttons on my desk and decided to make Christmas trees with them.

I die cut my tags from heavyweight cardstock so the paper could support the weight of the buttons.

I laid out my pattern and adhered the buttons using foam tape.

I die cut a banner in white and stamped Happy Holiday in red dye ink.

I finished this tag adding some red ribbon.

Here is a second one using a square tag with the same pattern. I used the larger buttons for this.

Quick, simple, cute!

I had a few circle tags left over from earlier this week so I stamped a circle frame and a gingerbread man in the middle. I quickly colored it in with a Copic marker and finished by adding a banner with Happy Christmas.

Thanks for stopping by! Please come back tomorrow to see my next set of tags...

Day 2: A Tuesday of Tags

Hello again!

Welcome to day 2 featuring Christmas tags!

You can see my previous post of Tags HERE.

Today's tags feature Lawn Fawn stamps and paper. See below for supply list.

I die cut the plaid paper using the Stitched circle tags. There are 2 tags and one circle included in this set. Very versatile and you can layer easily.

On two white round circles I stamped the tree, bow and bunny. I added stickles to the ears and also filled in a hill of snow.

Here I used shades of blue, stamping trees in a dark green and layering "Merry Christmas" on top.
I sprinkled some snow flakes around the trees and finished by adding small white pearls all around.

Thank you for stopping by, please come back tomorrow to see more tags.

Paper Smooches November Challenge: Giving Thanks

Just stopping by to share a card I created for the Paper Smooches November Challenge: Giving Thanks.

I began by stamping all over white cardstock using Botanicals 3 and fall colors. I did decide to add some pops of brighter colors, using Pacific Point from Stampin' Up (one of my all time favorite blues).

I cut a yellow circle and added the Thank you and the Foliage 3 Die cuts. Some gold twine tied to the side and mounting on dark green cardstock finished off this card.

I have some much to be thankful for...I hope this card will bless another.

Have a great day!

Papertrey Ink Create Along with Us November

Hello, this is my second post today.

You can find my post about Christmas Tags HERE.

Today begins the Create Along with Us November Challenge over at Papertrey Ink.

We are to share our inspiration from the current countdown to the release on November 15th.

I was inspired by a monochromatic card created by Nichole Heady.

I wanted to make something for my mother in law to thank her for having us at Thanksgiving. I ended up making three cards. I used different background dies.

I am grateful for the inspiration from Papertrey Ink!

Have a great day.

A Week of Holiday Tags

Hello! This week I am going to be sharing some Christmas gift tags that I have been working on to get ready for the holidays.

Today's tags were created from Stampin' Up products (supply list will be listed below).

There are a lot of pictures (sorry, I got carried away!) so be sure to scroll to the bottom to see close ups.

The dies I used are called Merriest Wishes and they have a coordinating stamp set.

I began with a dark green cardstock.

Here is a picture of the four tags that I quickly created with green and white cardstock.

These took just a few minutes to cut and the detail is so cute! You could use these just as they are.

I did add Sizzix adhesive to the back of the paper to save me time when I needed to adhere it. You could run it through a zyron machine and make it into a sticker.

I wanted to add some touches and I have been all about the Nuvo Drops. I discovered this product this summer and love to use it on everything.

On this tag, I added green Nuvo to the trees and copper to the deer. I stamped the sentiment with copper Delicata ink and finished it by tying red and white twine. Look closely and you will see a small copper colored pinecone. It is ridiculously cute in person!

This tag was cut out of green and I stamped falling snow with white pigment ink. I added gold twine.

For this tag, I stamped with a light blue ink some snow over the Christmas tree. I actually used the pieces left behind from the tree die and put it on a white tag. I added red ribbon and a small silver holly leaf embellishment.

This tag was cut from white and put on a green base. I stamped Merriest Wishes in Cherry Cobbler ink, added 3 red sequins and tied on some red twine.

Here are some tags using red and gold foil cardstock.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you will come back tomorrow to see another batch of tags!

Supplies used:

Stampin' Up Bakers Twine Trio
Stampin' Up Mini Pinecones

SSS Monday Challenge: Shine Bright like a Diamond

This week's SSS Monday Blog Challenge is Shine Bright Like a Diamond. They are featuring Tim Holtz products.

I pulled out my Tim Holtz  snowflake stencil and added snowflakes to a piece of dark cardstock using Texture Paste - Matte. It dries clear so I sprinkled Clear Rock candy glitter on the snowflakes. After it dries you get such a nice sparkle and shine.

I sprayed some white picket fence distress on top of the snowflakes.

I die cut a tag out of white cardstock and stamped the sentiment in Cherry Cobbler from Stampin' Up, one of my favorite darker red inks.

I tied the tag on with Cherry Cobbler twine and mounted it to a white card base.

Thank you for stopping by! Have a wonderful day.

I am also including this card in 4 Crafty Chicks Blog Challenge: #325 Vintage.
