Paper Smooches November Gold Challenge 2015

I had some new metallic inks to try tonight. I used gold glimmer paper and We r Memory Keepers Pretty posh for the clear pot backed with gold paper. All the flowers and sentiment were stamped in gold and copper. It is much bolder in person!

Make It Monday #232 Layered Stamping with Dawn

After a fun, restful Thanksgiving I was able to work on this challenge for Papertrey Ink. I have never used this technique so I am excited to add something new to my toolbox.

Hope you have a great week!

Happy Thanksgiving!

It is almost time for Thanksgiving and I can hardly wait for that first bite of turkey! We are having a fried turkey this year from a local BBQ restaurant. Yummy.

I saw this super cute idea over at Craft Test Dummies and made some pilgrim hat placeholders with my daughter. It was great way to recycle those K cups.

We added a scalloped edged circle cardstock for the base.

I stamped a few leaves on each tag after my daughter wrote each name.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!

Sharing with Meals on Wheels

I have been loving Jennifer McGuire's Share Handmade kindness series. My youngest daughter and I made chocolate chip cookies and cards for our church's Meals on Wheels recipients this week.
Our 4th and 5th grade Sunday school class wrote encouraging words in cards and packaged up the goodies. It was a lot of fun and we hope to do something monthly for Meals on Wheels.

Some children working hard writing notes - I love their sweet handwriting.

Here is the card I made  - the cookies were the focal point. This stamp sets are from Lawn Fawn.
I added some clear Wink of Stella to finish the cookies.

Many thanks to Jennifer for her inspiration!
