Let's Celebrate with Donuts2stamps from The Stamps of Life

Hello!

Today's card is colorful and so much fun!

Donuts! Yummy! This card features the Donuts2stamp and Patterns4donuts stamp sets and dies. I stamped the outline of the donuts and filled them in on the bottom with Gingersnap ink. The "icing" was stamped with BlueberryOcean and Sky inks.

The red patterned paper is from an older Stamps of Life Patterned Paper Pad. I tied on a piece of Lemonade Striped Ribbon and finished it off with glitter epoxy dots from a previous Card Kit.

This was all mounted onto an A2 Blueberry card stock base.

I added a smaller donut to the inside of the card:

Happy Father's Day with Stamps4fancylabel and The Stamps of Life

Hi there!

Here are two cards I made for my father and father-in-law for Father's Day. With each passing year, I am more and more grateful to have these two strong, kind, loving men in my life.

I used the Stamps4fancylabel stamps and coordinating dies on both of these cards. The patterned paper comes from an older Card Kit club.

These will go in the mail tomorrow, I hope they aren't too late!

Thanks for stopping by!

It's Your Birthday featuring Shellls2stamp from The Stamps of Life

Hi there!

Here is a card I created using the recent stamp set Solids4shells that coordinates with the club release,  Shells2stamp.

I love sand dollars! Growing up going to the Gulf in Florida I vividly remember finding them on sand bars.

I began by stamping the Sand dollar image with Versamark ink and embossing in gold. I did this three times and die cut them.

Next, I die cut the A2 base of the card in Bubblegum using Sizzix Greetings Scalloped Edge Drop Ins. I cut the patterned paper from the layering piece and sponged the edges with Seaglass Ink.

After adhering the card and paper, I popped up the sand dollars with Adhesive Foam and tied on a piece of Seaglass seam binding from the Pastel collection.

I cut two layering rectangles from Bubblegum and Seaglass and stamped the "It's Your birthday" with Seaglass ink. I also added some sponging on the edges.

This was also popped up with foam adhesive and I added a trio of enamel dots.

The final step was cutting a piece of Powdered Sugar using the layering die and stamping the sentiment.

Birthday Wishes Gift Fold it Card featuring The Stamps of Life

Hi there!

Just wanted to share a quick, fun card I made using the Sizzix Gift Fold it die set.

Here is a picture of the inside:

To make this easy card, you begin by folding a piece of Banana card stock in half. The large die in this set is designed for you to leave a small space at the top of the fold to create this fold over card.

If you would like to watch a great video showing how to use this product, please click HERE.

I used the remaining die pieces to cut out the other parts of the present. I popped the outside pieces with Adhesive Foam.

Supplies used (All from The Stamps of Life)
Epoxy Stickers, Large Pearls, Patterned Paper from previous Stamps of Life Card Kits

You rock featuring The Stamps of Life

Hi there!

Today I am sharing some cards I made using Scribbles2stamp and Thanks stamps from Sizzix.

I have been seeing agate everywhere lately so I decided to make my own rocks!

I began by stamping several images on watercolor paper and embossing with gold powder. Then I watercolored each "rock." I chose Grape, Sky and Guava ink pads to color this panel.
I gently pressed a clear block onto each pad to pull out some ink and used my water pens.

After watercoloring, I still didn't have the look of agate that I wanted. I pulled out a gold paint pen with a very fine tip and drew lots of shaky circles. Here is an extra panel I made unpainted so you can see the circles:

Next, I trimmed and mounted the watercolor panels to colored card stock, popping it up with Foam Adhesive.

I die cut the tag and embossed it with gold and tied on a piece of Sky seam binding.

I decided to cut a star for my second card and embossed it again with the same sentiment. However, I masked the words one at a time so I could stack the words on top of each other:

I added ribbon and an embellishment and assembled my cards. Here are a few more pictures of them!

You're Super Sweet featuring The Stamps of Life

Hi there!

Today's card features this month's Stamps of Life Club setPineapple2stamp.

I began by adding Sizzix Adhesive to a piece of Lemonade Card Stock and running it through my machine with the Thank You Background Die and coordinating frame.

This was adhered to Green Apple Card Stock and popped up with Adhesive Foam. Lemonade ribbon was tied on and a Guava button with twine was added on top.

Next, the Thank you was layered on patterned paper from this month's Card Kit and mounted to a Guava card stock base.

On to the pineapple! This is such a fun set. I love to eat pineapple but to be able to stamp and make cards with it now is wonderful!

I stamped the pineapple in Chocolate Ink and colored in the image with markers. Then I embossed the center with gold embossing powder and die cut it.

This was popped up with foam adhesive to add dimension.

I had a piece of leftover Lemonade patterned paper from earlier so I stamped the sentiment with Licorice and mounted on Guava and trimmed down. I punched small holes and added twine.

The last thing I added were 3 glitter epoxy dots. I can't get enough of these!

Big Hugs featuring The Stamps of Life

Hello and Happy Mother's Day!

Just dropping by to share a card I made for all the mothers out there! They definitely deserve Big hugs:

How I made this card:

Cut and scored an A2 Candy card base.

I trimmed a piece of patterned paper down and added to card stock.

The piece of Candy stock was cut to 1.75 inches wide and stamped all over using Candy Ink.
I chose a trio of small stamps from Sizzix Windows Stamps and Dies set.

A piece of braided twine was tied on the Candy stock and mounted using Adhesive Foam trimmed down.

I created the sentiment by die cutting Seaglass and Banana and gluing down onto the Powdered Sugar shadow base.
TIP **Be sure to add a Sizzix Adhesive Sheet to your paper before cutting the word. Makes it very quick and easy to adhere these letters.

The final touches were to die cut a small Butterfly in Candy card stock and add to a Gingersnap Shadow base. I added two epoxy flowers from a previous Card Kit.
