Happy Thanksgiving Turkey Fold it featuring The Stamps of Life

Hi there!

There is a new Limited Edition Turkey Fold-it over at The Stamps of Life! If you are interested, head right over to order yours today.

I began by die cutting my shadow from Chocolate card stock. I used some patterned paper for the turkey and began laying the pieces onto the shadow base. I find this paper piecing process fun and it gives you limitless possibilities.

I highly suggest adding an Adhesive Sheet to the back of the paper because it makes it so quick to add all the pieces.

I cut the Oval from Seaglass and stamped the Happy Thanksgiving with chocolate.

I stamped an A2 Tangerine card base with the same sentiment using Tangerine.

I adhered the turkey, popping him up with Adhesive foam to add some dimension. A few flowers and a bow tie ribbon were added. Don't miss out on this great die!

Happy Thanksgiving Box featuring The Stamps of Life

Hi there!

Today I am sharing a box that features the new Happy Thanksgiving die released from The Stamps of Life.

I began by cutting two pieces of patterned paper from my Handle box die and adhering them together. What a fun, fast, easy box!

I die cut a few leaves and blended some ink around the edges. I cut Happy Thanksgiving from Chocolate and Gingersnap card stock. Lastly,  I tied on a piece of seam binding

I will use this to hold a small hostess gift this year. Thanks for stopping by!

House Card Box featuring The Stamps of Life

Hi there!

Today I have one more House Fold-it card to share!

I wanted to make a box to add to the back of my house to hold treats. I couldn't figure out how to make a box (LOL) that I liked and the other morning I woke up and thought about the Handle Box die! It fits perfectly behind the House front.

Here is how I made it:

I ran the Handle box die through my Big Shot Plus twice using Licorice.

I then cut off the top of each box and adhered them together.

I began decorating it by adding ribbon and Candy Corn that I stamped and colored.

Then I moved to the house decorations. I stamped the Web with Powdered Sugar and let it dry. I cut the roof as well as the tree pieces from Kiwi and Grape. I blended ink onto the edges to add some definition. I stamped some birds in the trees and cut the door.

I stamped Boo and added it to the chimney and tied some twine at the top.

Once it was all ready, I added some strong adhesive to the box and assembled it.

Now, time to fill the box! I chose candy corn to coordinate with all the candy corn I added to the sides.

But mostly because candy corn is my favorite Halloween treat!

After I filled a cellophane bag, I tied with seam binding and added a Dotted oval  stamped with Treats for you.

A fun twist on this House Fold it!

Leaf dies and Big Hugs featuring The Stamps of Life

Hi there!

Today I have a fall themed card to share:

I began by cutting the Flip-it Circle card base from Artichoke card stock. I cut the layering pieces and adhered them.

I cut circles for the front and back as well as an additional smaller circle which I stamped with Chocolate ink.

I cut out Big Hugs and blended on Banana ink.   The turkey pudgie was cut from Chocolate and Tangerine.

Then I got busy die cutting Leaves! The new Leaf dies is a terrific addition to The Stamps of Life collection. There are multiple sizes of leaves as well as a shadow die so you can mix and match.

I scattered the leaves around the card popping them up with Adhesive Foam. The turkey was added and I decided to add a small bow tie with Artichoke seam binding.

Gingerbread House from The Stamps of Life

Hi there!

I am sharing one more Christmas themed house card today:

One of my favorite holiday traditions is decorating Gingerbread houses with my daughters so this card brought back fun memories!

I began by cutting out just the House from Gingersnap card stock. I used a white dimensional paint to draw the roof and let that dry. I cut the house windows and door and added paint on them.

I stamped and die cut the Candy, candy canes and gumdrops. I added some white dots to the gumdrops to look like sugar.

Of course I had to have a gingerbread girl inside the house!

Christmas Mouse from The Stamps of Life

Hi there!

This month, The Stamps of Life is hosting a Seasonal House Fold-it Challenge! To participate, create a seasonal House Fold-it (Halloween Fall or Christmas) and post your project on Instagram. Tag it with the hashtag #thestampsoflife. A random winner will be chosen on 10/1 from all tagged posts.

I made a Christmas house with the Christmas Mouse Stamp set available at HSN.

I die cut the house pieces from patterned paper and Gingersnap. I used Square diesAcetate and Adhesive Foam to create my shaker.

 Isn't he so cute?

I made sure the mouse fit in my window and glued him down:

I added a small pile of Christmas colored sequins before adhering everything down:

I die cut and heat embossed the banner in gold.

Here it is all together. I used sequins for the fireplace.
Here is the inside:

I can't wait to see what everyone makes with this fun die set!

Let's Eat Pizza featuring The Stamps of Life

Hi there!

Today, I am sharing a "slice" with you!

I created a pizza card using the Birthday Party Cardmaking Kit from The Stamps of Life.

I cut the base from Gingersnap card stock using the largest Fold-it die.  The "cheese" layer was cut from Banana. I sponged around the edges of both pieces using my Blender4ink tool and the coordinating ink.

I ran the smallest die through my Big Shot Plus and ended up with lots of "pepperoni."

After gluing everything down, I tied a piece of twine on and stamped Let's Eat onto Gingersnap. This is in the stamp set Patterns4donuts.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
